VAS,
Don't give up. Do you know how many times people try to quit before they do it for good. I did it also, I quit for 3 days, smoked again for 2 and then stopped again, so far 8 days. You can do it!! Never stop trying to quit,
Kitty

Hi VASmurfie......really feel for you.
I know from personal experience that it is hard to start again, funny thing is, once you make the decision, it's somehow easier to stay strong....can't explain it but I am proof that it works!
When you are ready, so are we.......

You slipped. You did not necessarily fail. You need to gather your determination, call the last one a practice-run and get on w/ your quit. Many of us here slipped, (some more than we like to remember!)
Personally, I know that my quit would be nowhere near as strong as it is now if I hadn't learned from my slips.
You can do this!
Cold Turkeys love quitters!

Really don't give up quitting. It takes some people longer than others. Be sure that your reasons for quitting remain solid in your mind. Look it took me 9 months to get on a streak and let me tell you, I will never define myself as a smoker again. (Hopefully,it won't take you as long) It takes prepartion and commitment.
YOu can do this.
