When I smoked, if I stopped at a light and noticed my smoke drifting to other cars my reaction was "So what?". And if they seemed to have a problem with it I'd put on my best "So do something about it, non-smoking wimp!" face.
Now I'm the non-smoking wimp and it's payback time, I guess. So I catch myself, remember how it was on the other side of the smoke stream, laugh and roll up my window. Or sometimes I just ignore it simply because I can now.
Oh, and as to the "grouchy old fart" bit?
"If you're over 30
you'd better forget it,
Cause if you're getting older
you'll live to regret it"
That's from the title song on the soundtrack from "Wild in the Streets". Now I've really dated myself. :8o:
