Just wanted to say hello to all, whether you are new here or an oldie. I've read where some are wondering whats happened to those they knew and I too have often wondered about a few who started with me. I hope you are ok and just keeping busy. This forum is a great place and I am glad to see new folks joining us. When that happens it means more and more are becoming aware of the smoking dangers and have decided to take back their lives. I am close to 3 months quit and I must say I never thought I would be amongst you. I use to get so angry at the non smokers out there who tried to control my life by telling me I should quit. Funny how that was. I didn't realize that the cigs already were controlling me. I am so grateful for all the folks here new and old. Maybe as a new quitter you think you have nothing to offer. That is so not true. I am always amazed when I read your posts and you keep me inspired to keep my quit. We all have something to offer here. Never take your quit for granted no matter how long you've been quit. We are always just:
1 puff away from 2 packs a day

Hey Vicki.....see you at the beach pretty quick. Glad the docs have a handle on your health issues. Good thing you quit when you did. Your posts always inspire me! Just a carton away from tubes up my nose,(really)

Great post Vicki! I totally agree with you about newbies having a lot to offer. Sometimes, us older quitters forget a little about what it was like way back then, but newer folks who are going through the same things give awesome encouragement because they're right there in it. I'm glad you posted this Vicki.
Crave the Quit!

Vicki, it seems like not that long ago that you were a newbie. And I remember in your first days thinking that you had what it takes to quit -- a great attitude and a positive outlook on everything. And here you are -- a shining star! I'm proud of you and your quit, and you should be too!
