It seems like early on in my quit, I was online here every hour. Call it obsession if you will. Frankly, I think I was scared and without this site I would have been going it alone. After a while, with each milestone crossed I got a bit more comfortable with my quit. Eventually, I spaced out my visits. I still check in here most days, mostly to lend some support if I can. But also, it is a reminder to myself that I am human, I am one puff away from a pack a day. The day I forget the hell I went through during the first 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, is the day I start smoking again. Staying involved here reminds me of those days that I hope never to forget.
