Cuddles, I hope your mom is okay. Parents are tough - my mom still smokes, but as we know, they have to want it for themselves for it to be successful. Hang in there and we will send our best thoughts and prayers to you & your Mom. Maybe if you told her what a fun crowd we are here at the SSC she would come join us :)
Take care,
CobenFan (Christine M)

Cuddles, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. But I am so happy that you made the right decision to stop smoking. I'm sure your Mom's health had a lot to do with your quit. Because it is very scarey.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Blessings of light sent your way....

Big reminder of why I dont want to smoke. My brother called a couple of hours ago. He took my mom to the emergency room, because she is having trouble breathing [she has emphysimea and broncitis] so now I am waiting to hear from my brother. Most likely she will be amitted to the hospital. I love my mom, but I sure dont want to follow in her foot steps

No matter what day or night it is, or for what reason, weather you are up or down on life. It does not matter if you are smoking or not smoking you will have good and bad days. So why not choose to live life smoke free. Because life happens. No matter what.

Cuddles...
I just want you to know that I am so proud of you. Regardless of all the stress you have been through with your mom you are doing great. You have a strong quit that is going to last.
Our parents can make it hard but they can also influence us to not want to suffer the consequences that they are. I know that is how it is with my dad. Hang in there.

Cuddles,
I'm so glad to see this determination in you, despite your family difficulties. I hope and pray your mother gets better and finally makes that important final step to freedom and quits smoking. Until then, stay strong and keep praying! I will keep you and your mom in my prayers.
Crave the Quit!
