Don't get me wrong now its hard as hell to quit but the way everyone in this support group pulls together and helps is absolutely amazing. Some of the discussions seem so playful and fun. I don't know a one of you but I feel closer to you guys then you can imagine!!! I tell ya what. I would not have made it this far without this support group. Friends and family are nice to vent to but even they get tired of hearing about your cravings, headaches, sore throat, blah blah blah...everything else that we have the courage to suffer through to make a better life for us and those around us. Ya'll ROCK!!! I look forward to reading the posts on here. It keeps me so occupied that I am amazed 8 days have already went by!!! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. YOU ARE AN AWESOME GROUP!! I AM LUCKY TO HAVE FOUND THIS GROUP!!!!

Great going chick, I agree that this group is what makes the difference. Isn't it odd, we are all miles apart (thousands in some cases) and don't know each other from Adam, but because we have a common purpose we can get together and help each other out as though we were old buddies.
God bless everyone and thank you, thank you, thank you.

Hey Stix !
We are glad you showed up and have stayed around !
It takes all kinds to create a good mix for a group.. you fit right in !
Humor is the only way I personally know how to deal with quitting.. it is such a diversion that it has got me through the hard times.
I look forward to coming here, it is something I do everyday to see how my new friends are doing and if they are making it..
So keep on keeping off the smokes .. (it makes cancer doctors nervous)
Knight Christine at your service :)

Great for you chixstix, You are having a good day not smoking. Can you believe that you haven't smoked one cig in eight days??? Isn't it amazing. Be ready for the hard days and be thankful for the good days. We all have both for the first year. You are doing the best thing that you can do for your life and those around you..remember that on the hard days.
