Katiescarlette... It amazes me too how those triggers can come from nowhere. Ive had a migraine off and on all week and today was the worse. Ah the junkie thinking. After 230 days of being free I actually considered that if I could just have one cigarette it would go away. Isnt it nice to know that they are just thoughts that we can dismiss. We no long HAVE TO smoke. We are free. Enjoy the freedom. Never take it for granted. One puff and POOF.the freedom is gone. As Lady said "Never take your freedom (quit) for granted". This is so true. I came out of the jury duty situation all right. Hoping the next trigger will turn out okay too! We all have such good intentions to stay quit and be healthy, then POW! (picking yourself off floor, rubbing eyes, saying what the heck was that!!) This addiction is the worst!! Katiescarlett *Hope this made sense* My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/28/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 233 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,013 Amount Saved: $1398 Life Gained: Days: 27 Hrs: 3 Mins: 30 Seconds: 18

I had jury duty this past tuesday and wednesday. was not selected for jury, but I tell you the waiting around drove me crazy. I would walk down the corridors and look out in the patio area at all the smokers and let me tell you if i had had cigarettes on me i would have smoked. There they were, laughing, talking looking like they were really enjoying themselves. There i was pacing the floors, reading magazines anything to pass the time. This had to of been my biggest crave ever. I didn't think that after not smoking for almost 8 months, the nicodemon would still be there tapping me on the shoulder, but he was! Very tough. Feeling okay now. It still is one day at a time. You never know when someone is lurking around the corner. Now katiescarlett, you know very well that those smokers laughing because they finally got their fix to ease those every-30-minute withdrawals. They were passing the time by using drugs. Aren't you glad you don't have to do that anymore? Stay strong!
