Would you use a syringe to put nicotene in your veins?

Would you use a syringe to put nicotene in your veins? (borrowed post) So why do you feel it is ok to inhale searing smoke full of chemicals for the same purpose? Huh? And are you repulsed by the thought of a drug addict shooting up? Well, look in the mirror... because there is really not that much of a difference between you and a junkie... except that a junkie may use a syringe and you use a cigarette. So next time you bemoan having to give up something you "enjoyed" so much... remember that a crackhead "enjoys" his crack... a heroin addict "enjoys" his heroin... and you "enjoyed" your cigarettes. There is no difference. Don't think there was anything special about your habit just because it is legal and marginally acceptable... the bottom line is that the only reason you ever "enjoyed" it... the only reason you ever smoked... was simply because you were addicted. That's all... not because you enjoyed it, not because it gave you courage, or stamina, or relaxation, or anything... just because you were addicted. So is addiction enough to keep you smoking ONCE YOU KNOW THAT IS ALL YOU ARE GETTING FROM IT? See smoking for what it is and you will not want it even in the face of the worst craving. Smoking gives you nothing of value... never did... and never will.
