thanks everyone.............I'm baaaaaaaaaack. :p
It turned into a pretty decent trip, as I didn't have to make the drive back to the airport (hitched a ride and ditched the car ;)
One thing that I found totally liberating during my meetings was the absence of the need to leave every hour or so for a smoke........
No one else in the room was a smoker (that was obvious) and we had three breaks per day - mid-morning, lunch and mid-afternoon. If this meeting had occured two months ago, I would have used my breaks to make a mad dash outside, power smoke, run back inside, use the ladies' to wash my hands (thinking THAT is enough to get rid of the smell) and then hold up the meeting by then dashing off to the cafeteria or snack shop for my coffee............while everyone else is sitting waiting........
And waiting (forever) at the airport too.......before I would have literally been crawling the walls :gasp: dying for a smoke. Having to go thru the agony of security at least once (sometimes twice) to get my last "fix" before the plane takes off....
This time, while seated in the plane, I definitely could tell who had gotten their "pre-boarding fix"!!
I'm off to Atlanta next month, so killing off those damn triggers as quickly as I can.......just get it out of the way and MOVE ON!!
it's good to be back................. :)
