Hey Everybody,
Sorry I haven't checked in for a while, work has been crazy, son had his 7th birthday, and I've had too much energy to just sit around and play on the computer.
So glad to see everyone is doing so well. Stu, hang in there man we got your back. I know you are putting in some long days, take a little time for yourself...you've earned it. KK, glad to see your still around. That last post was out there but cool. You still doing alright? Sure hope so.
Cbreez and I are on day 11 like a lot of you are. We can't beleive that it has almost been 2 weeks already. How time flies when your not just setting aroung smoking. I have been taking what I was spending on smokes and putting it into a Christmas Club account at my Credit Union. Man it adds up fast, never realized just how much money I was burning up every week. Can you beleive the number of cigs on your Quit Meters??? Wild...it's a wonder I'm still alive.
I've been having a really hard time sleeping lately and have gotten sores inside my lips. SSC says this in normal for some people, anybody else going through this too? They are going away, but man did they hurt. I also want to eat everything in the house these days, sure wish they would post a warning on TV before those Taco Bell spots come on...LOL. Been doing good at this though, I've somehow managed to lose 5 lb. so far. Pretty proud of quitting smoking and losing weight at the same time. Been really, really hard at times but thanks to all of my SSC friends I'm not giving up.
Everybody make sure you check in on friday with your weekend pledge.
