I am using the patch to quit and was so worried about weaning off the nicotine. Well i just went from step 1 to step 2 yesterday and was so anxious about doing so. However, I feel the same as before....,actually, I feel better. It's not as hard as I thought it would be.In fact,my quit feels stronger because now I know that my greatest battle is in my mind. I must be well on my way to being free from nicotine forever. How do others feel about this? Am I being a little too cocky?
Redrosie.
Great to see u doing so well. I'm finding it a lot better then I thought I would. So much so that I think I,m going to step down again in a few days. Good luck to you...even though we know luck has nothing to do with it. Keep up the good quit.

Cincere, how are ya doing today? Day 3 on my step down to 14 mg, so far so good. I think I have only lost my temper at the kids once. LOL. Keep Close, Keep Strong. redrosie

Hi Cincere, I just stepped down to my next level with the patch today. I haven't noticed any changes yet, though I am a little apprehensive when I go naked in 3 weeks. I don't see your quit meter. What day are you on? Keep Strong. :)redrosie

cincere,
Some people really have a tough time with the step downs... others don't. That's great that you aren't having any problems with it! No matter what method you choose, and no matter how long you've been quit, you can NEVER be too confident because the nicodemon will always be right there to attack. Just keep that positive attitude that you have going and you'll do fine. You might have an extra craving here and there because of the step down, but it's nothing you can't handle. Just be prepared for them when they come. Congratulations on going nekkid!
Crave the Quit!
