THROW THEM AWAY NOW!!!!!!! I did it today..first one was horrible...2nd one didnt phase me in the slightest...3rd one was just as delicous as ever....take it from me...DESTROY THEM...they are the evil....
Smoked for about 10 years...was having problem coping with stress without the nicotine in my system, so this past friday I decided I was going to smoke...and OMG, I couldnt even force myself to inhale it...This cannot be what Cigarettes tasted like the first Time I ever had one, WHY WOULD ANYBODY START THIS!!!...Omg..so I almost started back...I really wanted to start back just to calm me down a bit...but who can put up with that taste...and then the hand I was holding the cigarette with...must have wasted that thing like 4 times...and it still Stunk...
anyone else ever think about going back to smoking...but couldnt stand the taste anymore...i find it very strange sense nothing use to make me happier than the taste of that first morning cigarette
The same thing happened to me after 4 years of being quit.
The taste was terrible and I thought the same way.
then...I tried it again and it wasn,t so bad. A few weeks later, i was running out to the shed for a fix saying to myself,"How did this happen?"
well... the truth is.. nicoteen is so deadly addictive! Don't ever be fooled. We are addicts and we can never have just one puff.

Hi Badtaste....its still seriously dangerous. Now that you have tried a drag and hated it, it will be aqll tooeasy to try one again (just to see if its as bad) and this will be sufficient to get the nicotine back in your system....the rest will be history.
We are addicts, we cannot have a single puff without the danger of the full blown addiction almost certainly engulfing us.
But you know that really don't you.

badtaste,
You played with fire and didn't get burned... this time. Good for you. But please don't play with fire anymore! That's a dangerous thing to do. If you're at 4 weeks quit, you're going through what's called the 30 day pit, which takes place roughly between 28 and 36 days quit. It's a tough pit to get through and that's where I've lost many quits. Please don't play games with your quit. This is a rough patch that you're going through, but it MUST be N.O.P.E. - Not One Puff Ever. I'm glad that you couldn't stand the smell of that cigarette. Hold on to that feeling because there will come times where you will be tempted again... just remember how badly it stinks!
Crave the Quit!

badtaste, nothing made you happier than that first cigarette in the morning because it relieved your withdrawals. See, that's the big lie... we all think we loved smoking, when in fact, we loved getting relief for the withdrawals!
I'm really glad the taste was bad and you couldn't smoke it!

Get rid of the smokes and make a point of not being where you can get one!!! The addiction is whispering to you....you gotta slap him down and bear down on the coping skills
Linda
badtaste,
This is your body telling you no more! Get back on the wagon and stay there. This choice is for your health and if your body doesn't want it then neither should you.
Plan something else in the morning to look forward to, this will distract you and you will love to do something else at this time.
Keep Strong we are always here to help,
Josie
