My first four days were pretty horrid and then, all of a sudden, I feel fine!! I mean, I have small cravings for a cigarette every now and then, but it only lasts a short while. I take some deep breaths, or go outside an inhale the fresh air and it goes away. There will be times during the day when the thought of smoking crosses my mind, but only for a minute.
At work yesterday, I started to have a craving and then remembered that I had my lozenges with me. I had actually FORGOT, seriously FORGOT, to take one! When I looked at my log for how long it had been since I had one, it was THREE HOURS!
I was chewing on straws ALL the time my first couple of days, but I haven't needed to in a while.
I didn't think it was going to be this simple!!! I'm just a little shocked!
I really LOVE LOVE LOVE being a non-smoker!!
