I woke this morning to find my tongue swollen with what my gradma called "lie bumps" (you know, the sore bumps you get on the tip of your tongue), three pimple looking sores under my tongue, and the roof of my mouth covered in white film. I went to my dr. who told me I had a bacterial infection in my mouth! She said if I had been smoking it would have been much worse, and even could have landed me in the hospital. I'm not sure she was being completely honest, more like she REALLY wants me to stay quit (she's been with me through 5 yrs of quitting). Either way, just another reason I'm glad I'm not a smoker.
