Christian Girl.
I haven't seen you around in a while but I remember you. I am assuming that you come here and read from time to time and hope you see this message. You spoke of forgiving those that have wronged you. I want you to know that true forgiveness if for the forgiver not the forgiven. Forgiving others allows you to let go of the past so you can progress and prosper.
Your name indicates all you need to be free from all those demons. Christ. Lean on him. Pray and dont let anyone stand in your way. The good Lord above has a tendency to take us in his loving arms and provide us comfort from all storms and all those demons that haunt us. Come to me ye that are weary and I will give you rest.
I know the emotional struggle that you speak of. I battle it almost daily. I have grown so much since quitting smoking. I have let go of so many demons and have forgiven the unforgivable. The main person I have trouble forgiving in myself and I am even learning how to do that.
Put the cigarettes down and dont pick them up again. Use N.O.P.E. (not one puff ever) no matter what. Pray, cry, kick, scream, break dishes, whatever it takes just dont smoke. I dont know what it is about the quit. Perhaps it is the fact that we finally deal with the past instead of running from it but there is freedom in the quit. Freedom not only from the enslavement of smoking; but also, from all the enslavements that bind our lives. Dont let anyone discourage you from starting a new life of freedom. Lean on what you know is true - the fact that you are a good mother and the fact that you are strong. Take life five minutes at a time.
Take your life back from the addiction of smoking. It isnt easy, but I just know that you will find more freedom than you ever could imagine. Typically, I try to keep my religious beliefs out of my posts but I felt compelled to post this message to you. I will keep you in my prayers. Continue forward.
