Take to time to think about this....turn it over a bit.....you hubby may very well feel worse that you. he has betrayed himself more than you. Anyone who has slipped or relapsed will attest to the truth of this. When this comes to a head, please add a good measure of sympathy to your disappointment. and the VERY best thing you can do is be firm in your OWN quit, but positive about him not having lost all.....winning the war may not mean winning every battle? Don't go negative and attack him.....it will only cause more resentment and increase his shame and guilt. You remember what it's like to feel the clutches of this addiction????? they are sure real to him right now. Take care of yourself but don't attack him. Your quit ultimately rests with only what YOU do or don't do. Hang tough and be a good and loving example Katy My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/4/2002 Smoke-Free Days: 1585 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 63,412 Amount Saved: $8717.5 Life Gained: Days: 206 Hrs: 18 Mins: 41 Seconds: 42

4my2girls, There's no doubt about it! Quitting doesn't happen at once! Research scientists have found that most people try to quit seven times before they succeed, and unsuccessful quit attempts, while frustrating, are actually part of the process of quitting. But not everyone tries quitting seven times. People who seriously prepare beforehand can successfully quit smoking, even on their first try. Your husbands chances of quitting for good can increase if he views quitting as a journey, or a healing process that his body will go through. We suggest that he sees quitting in this light rather than seeing it as an abrupt and uncomfortable change in your personal lifestyle. We hope your husband makes the right decision for himself. However, this is a choice that he has to make. Try to stay strong and continue with your quit! You are 63 days quit and you are on the right track! Your girls have seen this quit and it's challenges. Your lifestyle has changed and maybe, just maybe your husband will want this change as well. Stay strong! Melanie __________________________ The SSC Support Team
