Just a few thoughts to hopefully inspire...
As a smoker i could sometimes be happy (if i worked at it). I sometimes felt depressed but that was o.k. cos i was able to relax & 'do nothing' for extended periods of time (sort of helped), i could do this by self medicating with nicotine, numbing my brain & keeping my emotions & thoughts at bay. As a smoker i was always happy with 'just the way things are' & didn't search for my worth and place in the world. I simply smoked and smoked and smoked till i couldn't smoke no more to try & brake free.
Now......
As a non-smoker i am happy & feel 'clean', if i'm depressed i'll do something about it & fix it. I can still relax but limit my coffee & sugar intake (which makes perfect sence), I will self medicate with life experience cos my emotions are free & thoughts rampant but thats o.k. cos as a non-smoker i do not accept 'this is just the way things are' if i don't like the situation or the way things are.... i'll change it or avoid it because...
My happyness is paramount.
I do not smoke cos i don't want to !
I am at last.. in charge..
i am truely free but most of all.
i do what makes me happy.
me, me, me, me
be happy ;p
