Today I spent some time reflecting about the journey I have been on for the last 200 days. Without realizing it, I found a part of me that I never new exhisted, something very much alive and dying to be free of the slavery of nicotine. That inner me is more powerful than I ever could have imagined. For those of you just beginning your journey, and those of you repeating it, consider the fact that the first three days of your quit will rid you of the physical addiction. It is the psychological addiction that has control over you after that. This journey really is all about harnessing not willpower, but the power of your inner self. Dig down deep and you will find it. Quit for yourself because you believe in yourself and you love yourself. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish when you do something for the right reasons. This truly can be a journey of a lifetime, and a journey that lasts a lifetime.
