I know that you shouldn't really bump your own posts........but I do like this one and from time to time I hope that it gives some of the newbies a laugh as well as inspiration to stop smoking.
When it was written, I was on 56 days and just coming to terms with the fact that I looked like I might succeed at this on my 8 millionth attempt.
Now, some 200 odd days later...............I still like to pop in from time to time to remind myself how hard it was and to try to give some encouragement to those going through it at the moment.
You will succeed if you simply stop smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the foolproof cure...............
I've had many cheats sending me evidence so a few rules
You cannot freeze it first!
You cannot nail the bowl with it in to the ceiling!
You cannot nail all your furniture to the ceiling, stand on your head and pretend that it is nailed to the ceiling!
And finally, you cannot use orange jelly instead!

Thanks for this post Brent, but I do have 2 problems with it.
1) Not that keen on Raspberry jelly - can I substitute something else for it?
2) The only nails I have in the house are 5 inches long. Will they do?
