Sunshine, You and your family were in my prayers because I so believe in miracles and there isn't just "coincidence" in life. Everything happens for a reason. This year I chose my quit as I should have died a year ago August (anniversary is coming up) while I was in Scotland/UK on business and in a terribly accident. A drunk driver had hit our corporate car head on and the drive beside me (my boss) was killed immediately. I was flown from a hospital there to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany as many of my family are stationed over there. I spent months there and then flown to a major rehab center here in Colorado. I had decided after that ordeal and the fact my kids almost became motherless, that a non-smoking life was more important that smoking. It took me months to prepare but I did. As I am coming upon my year anniversary of surviving, it is actually easier to stay away from the smoking because of what last year had done to my daughter when she had looked into my eyes and asked me to quit. Everyone, this quit you and I are on should be so very important to you. Hold tight to your quit because there might be a family member who is praying you through this and you may not even know it! Sunshine, very happy that God answered all of us and that you're doing just fine. This also opened up the door for other members of our family to share, thanks to all of you for telling about your lives, it's not always easy to give that away. Yes Sunshine, I do, really do believe in Miracles. 17 years as a volunteer fireman has showed me everything imagineable. Sometimes, nothing short of a miracle has helped people through accidents and trama. You had lots of people praying for you. I am soooo happy for you.
