I wanted to say thanks for this site. I really do find it useful, (although where do a lot of my posts go???) I am sometimes posting when I have bad cravings, and my post goes off into the realm of nowhere, never to be seen again, which is frustrating.
Anyway today is day three for me. Its not been too bad so far. Considering I smoked 20 - 25 per day for 22 years, its not too bad.
Your site is good, as it has people who are much later in the quit stage, the longest i quit for, was once when i quit for 3 months. I would still (although not often) get a craving, because of this, I thought i could never quit and went back to smoking.
Reading this board, I realise that 3 months is still fairly early days, and that what i was feeling was normal. It would and could have got better.
Also, I am on day 3 but wanted to be completely smoke free for when I go on my holiday August 28th. I am now realistic, and realise that when I go I could still be tempted and to be strong. Hopefully this knowledge will stop me this time from failing, because I am preparing.
Thank you for a wonderful board. Anyone else at day 3 and how are you doing?
