Hi Windy, the importance of the reward is to get your brain to produce dopamine (pleasure hormone) without the nicotine, you see when you smoke 7sec after the puff the message has reached the brain ,it's a powerful drug. So I reward myself with scented bubble baths, I buy a lot of aroma therapy candles etc as this pleases me I light them and enjoy them. It can be a special candy I enjoy I'Ll have one after a meal only. It can be gardening I love gardening, watching a movie, I love going to the pharmacy just to smell the perfumes and check makeup. At the end of the week I reward myself with dinner at the restaurant or going to the movies and eat a big bag of popcorn, or I buy myself something special. And for monthly rewards it depends on my budget this month I bought a pair of suede boots. And for my 4 month reward I'm going to NY city with hubby and friends on a shopping spree. I'm only a 6 hour drive from New York. So you see every day rewards don't have to cost much just something that makes you smile. You're doing it you're quitting one day at a time :)
