We all do remember how tough it was to quit. But one suggestion: get rid of any cigarettes, butts, ashtrays, cigarette cases, and other paraphernalia you have around you. The secret to quitting is not to light one. If you don't have any around you, you won't. If you have people giving you cigarettes, stay away from them for a while. If you are truly committed to quitting, you just have to do this.
On the other hand, your attitude is great. You'll be able to run farther and faster if you stay clean and healthy. Not One Puff Ever - NOPE!
