Jan,
Tattoo N.O.P.E. on your hand or something. Put it on the front door so that you have to see it as you walk out the door to buy cigs! Seriously though, get a N.O.P.E. bracelet or something and wear it all the time... mine has really helped me (I found it, so I'm wearing it again :) ).
Jan, you are seriously just torturing yourself by doing this to yourself. It MUST be Not One Puff EVER in order to quit... not one when you're really craving or one because such and such is just too difficult for me to deal with without a cigarette. By doing that, you're teaching your mind that smoking is OK. I think your mind probably rationalizes it by saying "you can start another quit tomorrow." Well Jan, what is the sense in doing that? Wouldn't it be better to have a nice, long, comfortable quit than to keep smoking, then quitting, then smoking, then quitting? Why put yourself through that Hell over and over and over again?
Jan, I REALLY hope that you figure things out and that you quit successfuly, but in order to do that, it MUST be N.O.P.E. from now on!
Crave the Quit!
Pam
