I am back from vacation and have 54 days under my belt. I DID IT!!! I was able to stay smoke free thanks to all your suggestions before I left. They did work. There was a bumpy part during the vacation when my husband's best friend came over and smoked one right after the other and he knew we had quit too. The only thing that bothered me was he was blowing it towards us, not away. There's nothing like smoke in your face when you are quit. Kind of pissed me off. I didn't crave it though because I was more mad at him than anything. So instead of letting the crave take over (which it hadn't), I left the entire situation and took a drive. My husband also kept his quit. I am just excited and hope all the newer quitters keep strong to their quit. It felt so worth it. I actually enjoyed not smoking because I didn't have to worry about offending anyone, wondering when my next smoke would be, etc. I actually felt FREE from this addiction. I know I will continue to have ups and downs, by there aren't words for the freedom I felt during my vacation. Thanks to all the older quitters as they gave me the courage to continue. BIG thanks to Lady as she was there for me during my week long vacation (in thought and if needed in voice).
THANKS!!!
Woohoo look at my stats now ;p
