Hey AuctionMan -
Just hang on! Trust me when I say you will feel 100 times worse if you smoke now.
Get your 'positive self-talk phrases' out & read them outloud, journal (if you don't have one, just grab some paper & rage on it, burn it when you're done), do anything constructive to distract yourself when a craving comes. Go outside & run laps.
You've got what? 6 days? Are you doing day 7 today? Do you realize how close you are to getting Hell Week over with? Talk to us.

hi auction man - - things can only get better, things can only get better keep repeating this because they will. missy fit and lashes are right in what they said about the reasons you want to quit and about smoking is the one thing you can control kind of like the serenity prayer god grant me the widom to except the things I can not change the courage to change the things I can (smoking) and the wisdom to know the differance.
you are going to be ok hang in there.

Auctionman:
YOU CAN DO THIS! It is NEVER a good time to quit. You will always find some stressors to blame for not quitting. Everyday life is stressful wether you smoke or not. Is your spouse a smoker or non-smoker? I hope things work out for you. {{{{{hugs}}}}} :)
