Hey niks!!!
I'm so sorry to hear that you broke up, and I'm sorry you are feeling so sad!! I've brought some tea and treats over for you :)
niks, there is a reason why all things happen. Perhaps this was going to happen sooner or later and the fact that it happenned now just shows you that you never really know when something is going to shift in your life, but I feel that we are never given anything we can not handle. You must be strong enough to go through it or else it would not be happenning.
Same with your quit. it was no accident you made the decision to quit 22 days ago, and for good. I know your determination in this and it is unmovable (I've seen this quality in every successful quit I've seen insofar!) So what you need to do is focus on the shift that is for the BETTER and the POSITIVE because change is going to happen now that you've quit, and it will sometimes be unexpected but it will happen.
Chances are, and I don't really know your background, but if he was a smoker, then that could very well speak volumes as to why you may have broken up. Not to say he would not have quit sooner or later, but there is always a reason, somewhere within it all that we just cannot see for the moment it is happenning to us.
I hope this makes sense, it's just what I've felt to share with you here. And you have tons of support here so we will be here if you are still not very cheery. In fact, you are not expected to be happy about this. Cry it out hun, if you need to, and let it go. It is good to cleanse if you need to, it is VERY healing for you! Run yourself a bath and relax. Take care of yourself, be gentle and rest.
Your quit is really progressing along and quite nicely, you are VERY strong so don't allow anything to threaten your quit by any means. You are in the Cafe right now, which means you don't have far to go to be on the cruise ship! Protect yourself, protect your quit, come here and post away!
Hope you are feeling better soon, please let us know how you are doing :)
Many Blessings Sent Your Way!
Eve :)
