Thanks for your response. I agree that I'm not expecting any big surprises here.
By the way everybody. In the UK, we have a public health system where instead of going to the local pharmacy and paying $20 + for a week's worth of patches, we can get them for approx $10 for a whole month.
What about the rest of you in other countries?

As far as I'm concerned, whatever it takes as long as you don't kill anybody. I admire the Turkeys for toughing it out; I would have found that too hard. I opted for the patches and that worked for me. I'd be surprised if anybody here thought themselves superior because they quit without NRT etc
