Doodlebug,
You look forward to kicking it's butt? You are kicking it's butt! And doing a mighty good job!
Now the question is, what are you doing to reward yourself?

Hi everybody but especially the newbies...
I havent posted here before but have spent considerable time reading thru to gain support and education from this website.
I was doing really well unti l last week and then the madness set in! I couldnt believe how you could get so far feeling great then wake up and start craving after so long for no good reason either. it just went on and got worse over a week or so and all of a sudden I found myself doubting my quit.
Well i'm here to tell you i'm over that frame of mind! never give up on yourself , the elders on this site are right! it does get better. I woke up and felt normal and calm this morning and i know now that its just a rough patch. when and if it happens take care of yourself, be kind to yourself and get some early nights. It does and will pass.
I distinctly remember how anxious i felt from it and the mild depression creeping in and today i have woken up ok and thought about those feelings of anxiety...they are caused by smoking! if i never ever smoked i wouldnt be feeling anxiety now. that realisation has bucked me right up!
I know this is going to be an up and down rollercoster of a ride but I say bring it on now...
i look forward to kicking its butt!
thanks to everybody who contributes to this site...youradvice has been a god send!
hang in there newbies!
