Test Updates...very stressed

for 18 år siden 0 5195 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Bingo.. Deep breaths. REALLY deep breaths. WOW. That really sucks but you know that smoking will not make it any better or any easier. Smoking will just remind you why you are in this position to begin with. I must stay I admire your courage. Resisting the temptation to give in was difficult I'm sure. You can kick, scream, cry, break dishes, go to bed, punch a pillow anything that takes that anxiety away, just don't smoke. You are on the road to recovery and hopefully all the test results come back good. Hang on to that hope. We are here for you. Bingo, I just posted to your other thread. I'm tellin' ya, I know where you are and the waiting is soooooooo tough. I'm so sorry you're having to go through that. You know, I think as former smokers we automatically assume the worst, especially when we talk about lungs. Try to keep in mind that there other reasons for nodules in the lungs too...and even with a lung cancer diagnosis... it's not all gloom. My cousin has survived it. She's doing great now.... but she never picked up a cigarette. Pamper yourself, relax...get a good nights rest. After such a stressful day... you deserve that. Maybe in the morning...things will feel a little better. Results will be here before you know it then you can deal with things. One day at a time :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/2/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 554 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,097 Amount Saved: $1977.78 Life Gained: Days: 58 Hrs: 17 Mins: 58 Seconds: 16

Good grief, what a nerve racking experience! Try to do something good for yourself everyday - walk in the park, listen to relaxation tapes, read a good book - anything to help keep you calm. Let us know how you're doing. Oh Bingo, I am so sorry. That has got to be the height of frustration and disappointment. Remember you have lots of prayers and good thoughts surrounding you. That will help you much more than smoking will. Smoking won't make the time go any faster. So please hang in there with positive thoughts as much as you can.
