Wow, Mav, sounds like you have got a good plan there. Good educational grounding is terrific. When you get a job, your anxiety will become anticipation, if you get my meaning. Fun planning involves exciting choices. A CD right after graduation is awesome. That sounds like so much fun. A new life, enjoying the moment, good things ahead. All the very best to you!

Thank you Anne Marie, I appreciate the kind words. I actually have done a lot of thinking lately on these very points you've brought up, and I think that I've just been worrying too much... and most of all, I've become very BURNT OUT on school. This week is my very last week - exams only - and I'll be done. My degrees will be in sociology and criminal justice, but I've made up my mind to "take a year off" and just find a job and work for at least 12 mos. before I go back to get my Master's. In that time, I'm going to put a lot of effort into recording my very own guitar CD... because music has been such a HUGE help with my panic. Thanks again for the encouragement... sometimes you just need someone outside of your usual family and friends to let you know you're still doing okay and grounded in reality. :)

Congratulations on graduating! That's a big deal and you deserve a big reward after your study and success. Way to go! In what discipline are your degrees? When facing new territory, there is always uncertainty. It's natural to feel a little nervous about all of this. So long as you manage your resources and don't get involved over your head (don't live beyond your income) then you will do just fine. I'm confident of that. Once you have a job lined up, take it from there. Remember to keep your stress as low as you can. Do you absolutely need a car right away? And can you drive on the medication you're taking? If so, perhaps you can split expenses by getting a room-mate, etc. Don't jump ahead though. Life just does not always go according to plan, so take it still one goal at a time, one baby step at a time. It's easier on the nerves to have money in the bank than to buy things too soon and be saddled by debt.

I was diagnosed with panic disorder back in November, although I've been living with anxiety all my life. I started out on Zoloft and got an awesome doctor, and a great counselor. Things have REALLY been looking up for me. The past couple of days I've been feeling really depressed, though - and anxious. For a long time school was my big panic-producer in many ways. Now that I am about to graduate with my degrees in May, I started to REALLY improve. But now, suddenly I'm freaking out about how the heck I'm supposed to pay for my medication, medical insurance, let alone try to get a vehicle and all the expenses that come with that. I have to stay on my Rx for another 7 mos. at least before I can start coming off of it... someone please tell me they've been in my shoes. I've been so positive lately... so this is a real setback for me and I just need a little encouragement...
