Today my baby girl turned 2 years old. My little girl has been one of my biggest inspirations to keep my quit. She came 5 weeks early 2 years ago today. Since 9-11 was such a sad day, I have to admit that she has and probably will always make it a special day for everyone she comes in contact with. I'm pretty sure she came early because I was a smoker all threw my pregnancy. I got lucky that she is a healthy little girl with no health problems. I will never chose smoking over my babys health ever again. Hi AlleyAnn! I know what you mean about making 9/11 special. That was the day, 5 years ago, for me that I walked into my docs office with my one daughter in hand, and found out that I was pregnant again!! I remember so clearly, an elderly man sitting next to me in a chair in the waiting room, and he had said to me that my duaghter's smile brought such happiness to him on this horrific day. It was an honor to be at my daughters side that day. Her little 3 yr old smile brought happiness to someone who only knew sadness at that moment. You are a wonderful person. Keep that little baby in your arms. My arms are starting to ache for my child. My "baby", now 4, wants to be so independent. But every now and then, she returns back to my darling little one, and begs to be held. I cherish it now, because it is not often................. Happy Belated Birthday to her!!
