Hi, I went to the gym with my daughter tonight and we met a girl I haven't seen in a long time. So blah blah I quit smoking that's why I'm here trying to sweat it off. She was very supportive, she says quote'' I smoked a long time ago, now I have one once in a while, maybe 3 times a year. Well a while back I would have slapped her silly( Not really) because I would have been jealous, now I said some people can do that, not me, it's NOPE because I'm addicted to smoking ,and that was that. Then, cause she knew I quit before for long periods of time, she asked how come you started again, well I didn't remember, it was over 10 years ago with my last quit, my daughter said I remember very well . We went to a Christmas party and someone offered you a cigarette and you took it, when we got home she hid all the matches she found in the house, she was afraid I would start smoking again. She was just a yougn teenager then, I didn't even realise this at the time, so I told her tonight not to worry that I will not smoke anymore and she answered, this time I know MOM. I'm so proud of me and so happy that my daughter has so much confidence in me . So don't look back, on with the quit one day at a time :)Marie
