I decided that I am going to post tonight so I can go back and remind myself of these good days if/when I hit a rough patch in the future. These last couple days have been great! Not great as in Brad Pitt came and asked me out, I won a million dollars, I'm going to Hawaii kinda great but great as in that I could FINALLY feel the freedom of not smoking. I had smoking thoughts but no craves. Life has been good and has been so awesome not to be inconvenienced by my addiction.
The other reason I am posting is because I am dropping down to the 14 mg patch on Thursday so I intend to be good and whiney by then. (I already warned hubby to be prepared!) I don't want to forget how amazing these last few days have felt because I know that eventually EVERY day can be a good day.
Now if only I could be smokefree, go on a date with Brad Pitt, win a million dollars, and go to Hawaii...my life would be perfect!

Congratulations Windy on your decision to go down to 14mg. I found this transition pretty easy but I know others have said it was the hard one for them. Don't forget to keep all your coping tools handy! Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Am catching this a bit late Windy, but hope all goes well with the step down.
And yes, interesting how GOOD it feels not to smoke, isn't it?
