I think Cindy did relapse. I can't tell you how meny times
I did that. I always started back at day one. I have a smokeing
husband. Harder yes but you can't let it stop you. You are adicted
and must not ever take another drag.
Good start. Keep at it.
Cindy, I just wrote to you, because we both quit on the same day. You definitely have a challenge with your husband smoking around you, maybe you can ask him not to smoke around the house at all. Don't give up, just because you took one drag. Good luck today!
Hi everyone
I am very disappointed in myself. I am on my 4th day without smoking cold turkey and what did I do, My husband was smoking outside and I took one drag of his cigarette when he went in the backyard. Just one and put it back down. I am so upset at myself.
Cindy
Thank You Lady
Your right.. I have never put a cigarette down.
Thank You
cindy

Cindy,
How are you today? I hope that cigarette did not make you want more! Let us know how you are doing! Please know that one cigarette does NOT negate all of the hard work that you did for 4 days... but it CAN lead to relapse. I really hope that didn't happen. Again, let us know how you're doing!
Crave the Quit!
Pam

One drag won't ruin the whole quit...however, I know that one drag sometimes leads to a half a cig six hours down the road, a whole one 48 hours later, etc....Be aware that you reintroduced nicotine into your body and it may scream for more later on. Be strong! :) Congrats on the four days!
Cindymarie,
Don't be too hard on yourself. Learn from this experience and keep going. What alternative do you have in place of that cigarette?
Congratulations on 4 days!
Danielle
