I am please to say that I am going into my 6th day without having one of those smelly little burning things in my mouth. It's a good feeling to have some time behind me, again.
I am getting the cravings like before, but they are not going to get me to smoke TODAY.
I am not going to project what will happen in the future with my quit, I am just keeping it simple, and one day at a time. I know I sound like a broken record, but it helps me to see it in writing.

Hey huey,
Way to go. I am one day behind you. I have been on here everyday, posting 3 or 4 times a hr. In fact I think when somepeeps see Grace they just don't read it. HA HA J.K. Anyway without this place I would be smoking. In fact this level of support was what was missing my last quits. I was prepared, I was very determined but I could not get past 3 days. This time I feel really good about what I am doing. As for tomorrow who knows. Today I am not smoking. And I am loving it.
Grace

You dont sound like a broken record at all.
You are in the here and now and your doing just fine, there is no need to think about the future right now, just one day at a time.
Huey - never loose sight of your reasons for quitting. You are doing this for YOU.

Awesome Huey... You celebrate everyday smoke free... I still do. Life is great without that cigarette. When those cravings hit you, you keep your eye on the goal. Living a life without smoking is worth every bit of agony and struggling you may be going through now.
I counted every hour in the beginning of my quit. You are doing an awesome job. Keep taking that next step!

Hi Huey! There are people on this site that posted about every hour for the first few days about how they were feeling. You post whenever you feel like it. The beauty of this site is that there will always be someone here to listen and to give advice if you need it. One day at a time is a good way to go.
Congratulations on 6 days of freedom.
Not cravin', never cavin'.
