Oh Phil, awesome. I live in a wintery area, so I have been outside in the blizzards, snow storms and freezing rain in addition to subzero temps....I'm not going to miss that at all!

I had a day off on Thursday and thought a couple of incidents would be interesting.
We had a mini tornado yesterday and I watched someone trying to light a cigarette in the middle of the storm I laughed and then thought that would have been me a few months ago.!
I had an eye test and any of you who have had one(this was my first) will know the optician has to get very close to examine your eyes.
She was quite a young lady and as she was peering into my eyes from about 2 inches away I said'You get to know your clents very well dont you?'She said 'Yes the worst are the smokers they stink! I said Yuk do I smell ok? 'You smell lovely' she said!
That was my 4 month reward I smell nice !
I came out of there feeling like Superman!
A good day despite the weather!
Phil

Phil,
This is strange because I had an eye test on Tuesday. It is very disconcerting when the optician (whose face is only 1cm away from yours) says 'look down to the left' and there is nowhere else to look than the upper part of her body and in any other situation you would be arrested for looking where you are looking.
Oh the trials and tribulations of growing old and long-sighted in the UK!
Mr Ed :p
