Windy, I share your feelings ... That's why, for this quit, I've created an image of "burning the bridge" to protect myself against any desire to smoke again. For me, smoking is no longer an option.
Yes, I still have moments of discomforts, irritations, depressions, .... and I crave for comforts. In my previous failed quits, I believed that cigarettes would bring those comforts back ... and that belief took me back to smoking again!
For this quit, I'm determined to rule out smoking as an option. The bridge was burnt & destroyed. There is no option to go back. Once you rule it out, it's easier for you to find other ways to cope with any craving feelings you may have at the moment! :)
