well ever since my first night on the patch i have been having some horrible dreams.. They do feel somewhat real but i know that there not.. Last night was the worst! I have a 11 month old son and 2 step children, I had a dream that we all were in a car crash and we eneded up in another world waiting on someone to come let us know what comes next.
Then this man comes and tells me that i will be going back to my family but my son and step children cant go back as who they use to be they have to go back as someone or something else, reancarnation. It was horrible. I didnt want to leave my baby he was only 11 months old. god i have the worst dreams. I never really tell anyone about my dreams cause i dont want them to think im crazy or something... I also dont want to take the patch off at night cause im affraid that i will have some bad cravings when i get up and i have been doing so good so far.. any help would be great thanks for listing.
Thanks for the advise . I put the patch on every morning at 10 am. I was like you the morning time was when i smoked the most I get up pretty early sometimes cause of my 11 month old but then i go right to sleep. I will try and not think of these dream. I know there not real its just really sad to think about.

Try to calm yourself with the realization that these are after all, just dreams....I know they can be really intense and so realistic! but remember they are just dreams. Your body is going through huge adjustments right now. You are receiving a steady stream of nicotine from that patch instead of the up and down of when you smoked. I was on the patch and also experienced the dreams. and I didn't want to remove the patch at night cause mornings used to be when I smoked a LOT. My dreaming tapered off after a while. Tell yourself this WILL pass. Try to inject humor into it in any crazy way that you can??
what time of day do you put on the new patch? Try mornings if you aren't doing it then? When I was quitting there were even some people who took them off for bed and set an alarm and put them back on like at 3 or 4 in the morning? I never wanted to do that but they swore it worked for them.
hang tough....things will get better as you go
