And the good reasons is....

I think the problem is that I think. To try to think of whether or not there is a good answer or not is the problem. It implies there is a good reason to kill oneself in a way that is socially acceptable and thus contributing to children believing that it is appropriate, therefore contributing to the deaths of others. It a physical addiction. Any mental action factor should be eliminated from any description of the action. To do so implies that there is a selective choice each time one engages in the activity, as if one is walking the dog or writing in a journal. These things don't kill you and you won't go freaky if you don't do them. Smoking is a dangerous physical reaction. Like standing too close to a fire, your hair will burn. The problem is that you can't see the insidious tactics of nicotine until it's too late. A good reason to smoke? Sure, you could make up any reason b/c whatever reason you give will have nothing to do with why you are really taking that poison into your lungs. I am sure at one time or another we have found many, many, many reasons to smoke, however is there such a thing as a good reason?

Stickin, Very good question but there isn't one. All seemingly good excuses have holes in them if you look closely. Thanks for sharing. Danielle _________________________ The SSC Support Team
