jnine,
CONGRATULATIONS ON 8 DAYS! (or however many it's been now... btw, try to post your meter each time so that WE can congratulate you as you go along!) I think this is one of the reasons why this support group is so vital for so many of us - we get the way to go's that we don't get anywhere else. Other people just don't appreciate what we are going through. Either they are still smoking and REALLY don't want to hear about our success as ex-smokers because then, that means that it IS possible and it causes them to feel more guilty about NOT doing it and it seems to constantly point out their flaws to them, even if that's not what we're meaning to do... OR, they are non-smokers and don't understand why there's a single smoker on the earth anyway, so who care's if you quit? It's something you shouldn't have started in the first place, according to them and they will NEVER understand why quitting is such a big deal! So that's what we're here for! Come here anytime you need to brag! That's what the stats section is all about - whether you're celebrating 1 day, 1 week or 238 days if that seems like a good number for you to celebrate! Anything you want to celebrate, WE will celebrate it with you because WE know what you've been through! COngrats on your quit! Don't EVER let anybody make you think that your quit isn't that big of a deal, k? There's a bunch of us here who KNOW just how big of a deal it really is... and are here to support you anytime you need it!
Crave the Quit!
Pam
