Hi redy - I'm afraid things are a little quieter here on the weekends so you won't always get as many responses. Yes - It is perfectly normal to have difficulty concentrating and yes, it will pass. I think the "when" is different for everybody...I don't remember when my brain started to function again (Gee - I'm not sure it is!!??) but, anyway, thought processes just started coming together gradually. You really have to cut yourself some slack the first three weeks ... Do what needs to be done and leave the rest....better days are ahead! Redytoquit, Yes, it will pass. A temporary lack of concentration is a normal withdrawal symptom reported among quitters. Don't feel guilty about lying on the couch. It is time to put yourself first and be kind to yourself. Danielle __________________________ The SSC Support Team

Yes it will pass. Those are called "me" days and I had a lot of them early in the quit. As a matter of fact, I even had PJ days where I stayed in my pajamas all day long. Took a vacation day and called it a reward. It doesn't matter what it takes to quit as long as you don't smoke you are doing great. Keep going :) Lady My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 567 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,357 Amount Saved: $1984.5 Life Gained: Days: 51 Hrs: 6 Mins: 21 Seconds: 37
