Sparky - Good for you ...4 days cold turkey ... you have virtually wiped the nicotine out of your system.
I think that Sparky is the perfect name for you....because whereever you go, you add a little spark.
Keep up the good work...Can you hear me cheering you on????

I owe it you to let you know I am still smoke free. I was not going to post until I hit a magic #. There are to many of you who have seen me go though quitting and then slip up.
I have not gained a whole lot of time yet. What I have gained is more support than I ever thought I could get. Because of the IM I have been able to stay in touch with some very special people - daily ;p. I have emails now. Next month I am planning on meeting with a special lady for coffee. Then I will have a face to go with at least one of you.
I am doing this quit cold turkey. I read Allen Carr's book again. I have found cold turkey isn't as bad as one would think. The advantage is the thought process. Anyway it is a good read for someone who would like another option.
Thank you to all that have been there before and now and to all the newcomers. Heard a saying last night - Build a bridge - get over it. Thought that was cool :8|:

I realized it was so much easier to not slip when I kept in contact with my friends here. They all hold me accountable and I know a few would pay me a visit and would have kicked my toosh if I had slipped. I am so excited for you Sparky!@!! Together we can beat the nicodemon. Oh and by the way, when we talked on im, you suggested me getting that book for my hubby? Guess, what! He wants to read it. I told him no quitting until he did because I cannot handle his mean attitude.
Hugs gf and counting the days till coffee!! And since you didn't give up trying, I'M BUYING THE COFFEE!!!
