Nice to hear from you Zookie, we quit about the same time and your posts helped me over the rough parts. You are one helluva quitter and it is so good to be off the meds and free of the nicodemon!!! I'm feeling quite proud to have celebrated my second Thanksgiving smoke free. The holidays can be a huge trigger and I'll admit to a few thoughts and a powerful smoking dream.
Congratulations and a big toyota kick :p

HI Folks - Another milestone for me. I was on wellbutrin for my quit and the first month was hell on it...trying to adjust to the side effects etc. after that I had no problems with using it. This goes way back to July 8 2005. In June of this year I thought I better get off it...so I stopped taking it and a few days later I felt a little blue and scared myself about smoking so quickly went back on it ( did not want to use lack of wellbutrin as an excuse to smoke - or a perceived depression). Around September I started to be very lax about taking it and took it whenever...In october I realized that I had been lax and did not seem to have any issues...so it has been 6 weeks without Wellbutrin and I am doing fine. If anyone is on wellbutrin, don't worry about it..I really believe that when the time is right we will sub consciously just not be so concerned about taking it..
All you new quitters and old quitters, congratulations...keep at it..

Hey Zookie! So good to see you again. Look at that meter. A big toyota kick for you! You are awesome. The struggle really was worth it. We all did what we had to get through. Now we live in the world as non-smokers. Awesome isn't it!
Congratulations!!!!
