Awesome Quitmeister! Keep going. Like you, I do a lot of road travel for my job and believe me....driving without smoking was the hardest part for me. Unfortunately, my out was to chew on twizzler licorice sticks which was a great substitute for me; albeit, I gained 15 pounds over the year! Just keep remembering how nice it is to be in front of a client and smell good and not smell like an ashtray. Fact is, I used to take an ashtray and dump it into a babyfood jar and added a 1/2 inch of water in the jar. I closed the lid and swirled it around. I kept that in my car. Everytime I felt the need to want to reach for a cigarette (that was no longer there) I would get the babyfood jar from the cupholder and unscrew the lid and take a smell. It was horrible and nasty! Would turn me off instantly! I hope that can work for you.
Also, tune into talk radio as that will distract your need to smoke...but of course pay attention to the road.
Benefit: Never having to run to find a smoking lounge in the airports between flights! Love it, love it , love it!
Mental: Just keep thinking this phrase when you think you may go for a cigarette: "Only one puff away, from two packs a day"....thus, that one puff can ruin it all. Don't do it.
Take care.
