Bumping cause I constantly need to be patien with myself.
[quote]
Learn as well to be gentle and care for yourself. As smokers we were pretty harsh with out bodies and with our mind. We administered a mind altering and body breaking drug every few minutes and many times a day. Time will heal and please, please, please be patient, gentle and caring with yourself and your quit. You are a great quitter and you are doing an amazing job.

The long way home is right, Missy. You sure are a wise gal.
I wans't prepared for this.. and I suspect this is why i have failed the quit so many times before. I had no idea that I would have to learn to walk again just because I quit smoking.
I have already found so many issues laying under that smoke, and I ahve no idea how many more there may be. I have lost friendships that were never any good to begin with, and I have begun being completely true to myself. No more smiling through the pain that someone else causes. No more silence through all of the issues. No more keeping my mouth shut - unless I chose to keep my mouth shut.
My marriage has changed, and the relationship with the kids has changed. I have changed.
