Hi Sky,
I went through a period of time where I would only eat mashed up food for fear of choking. I started out with soups and mashed potatos, avacodos mashed, ice creams, pureed fruit drinks. It def. helped me move on to solid foods, but I know just how you feel. I was also afraid of throwing up. It takes time, but go at a pace you feel comftorble with, don't feel pressure to have to eat all the time or have everything solid.
