You can do this...just take deep breathes, close your eyes, and picture yourself healthy and happy, and free of the addiction. We knew this wouldn't always be easy, not in 1 week or 6 months, but taking it one day at a time and one craving at a time is key. We are all going through the same thing. Trying to carve out our new lives without smoking in them. Make a plan and distract yourself, you can make it through. Fear is a great reason to quit. Fear of getting COPD, fear of emphysemia (sp), fear of dieing a slow death of lung cancer, fear of dragging an oxygen tank around with you, fear of not being around for loved ones. Let's face it, if we weren't afraid, we wouldn't be quitting. You can do it!
