That describes my sister perfectly! My only sibling, nine years older than me, she is the anti-smoking tactical squad unto herself!!!! She's never taken up the habit(God, how I envy her), and raises a very non approving eyebrow, along with a comment, if I dare go outside to smoke.
Guess where I'm going this weekend? I'm leaving tonight with the rest of my family coming out Sunday for a huge Christmas dinner. My sister and I are finishing up our Christmas shopping this weekend.
And no...I can tell you any smoking will be cut to the absolute minimum. God bless her. I grumble at her, yet I love her dearly.
I can understand her hatred of the addiction as she lost her husband to lung cancer seven years ago. A yes, he was a very heavy smoker.
Who has time to think about smoking anyhow, with shopping, shopping and more shopping?
Every day I check my quit meter and now I'm down to 17 days. Pretty soon my meter will be on the plus side. I start the Zyban on Monday.
Have a great day and a great weekend as well.
Cheers, Jan
