I have asked the mods to delete the introductory thread I did on the cravings board. It was my first days here (or second) and I may have confused a few people with my excitement! So see you here with whomever feels like starting a thread!
Also, WELCOME BACK NEWPAPA. So glad to see your face! and congratulations. We'll talk about eating when you're ready LOL.
And for those I confused, my apologies.
Marie
I am still smoke free and really happy.
I rewarded myself by bowling yesterday, I had so much fun, it was my first time doing it.
Seeing the number of cigs not smoked on my quit meter just amazes me, when in the world did I have time to get things done and do all that smoking.
Smoke-free life is the best!!

Magic and I are leaving tomorrow AM for our vacation. We want to wish everyone a smoke free week. We will check back with you guys when we return. For now 18 days smoke free. We are going to take this one day at a time, have all our tools ready and in place. I know we can do this!

Well I quit on the the 27th of Dec. but am still a new year quitter like you all. Am very happy with my decision and have nearly made it a month...which makes me so happy. The strange thing is the last few days I have been having insane cravings...not for cigerettes, but for anything with sugar in it. They do say giving up smokes is like giving up heroin and I suddenly understand all the chocolate related cravings they express in movies to do with junkies. I figure so what, so i have a few too many Oreo's for a few days...anything is better than being a smoker again.
Keep up the good work all!!
